Weight Loss HACKS + Favorites:

Why does this plan work? When we are trying to shed the last few pounds, stay motivated or start our weight loss journey, many do not realize how important mental strength is. Think about anytime you have given into cravings. It is our minds that want the cupcake or pizza. Our bodies do not need those foods because they provide little to no nutritional value.
Fear can hold us back from many goals including weight loss. Perhaps there is a reason from your past that is stoping you from reaching your full potential. By tackling the emotional side of things you can easily lose weight.
Tracking your meals and workouts holds you accountable. When we set a personal goal there is not going to be a boss or friend pushing us the entire time to stay on track. I have found that when I write things down it holds me accountable to goals I set. Like I said even if you cheat, put it down.
I also find that when I track my weight loss progress it makes me want to eat healthy and workout. Every day we stick to our plan we are one step closer! Good luck everyone! I am here for you! xoxo

One of the problems that I have isn’t weight or health, but one of the things that I don’t like about myself is that I have no skills. Everyone that I know has some kind of skill. My older sister was really good with art. She started taking art lessons when she was 14. Now she’s a very successful art teacher. My best friend who I am also quite jealous of also has so many talents/skills. She takes a ton of classes after school. She knows how to cook, draw, dance, sing, play a few different musical instruments, can speak 3 different languages, and she is really good with gymnastics. That’s why whenever I call her after school or on the weekends and ask if she wants to hang out, she always says “Sorry I cant. Today I have guitar practice” or “No, sorry. I have my Spanish lesson today”. She’s always busy and has so many different skills. Her parents are quite wealthy, so I guess that’s why they can afford to put her in so many different classes… It just really worries me that I’m 15 years old, and I don’t have any skills, or at least 1 skill that I’m good at. All my friends have at least a few types of skills. One of my friends’ is really good at knitting and quilting. Another one of them can dance and play piano. A few of my other friends are really great with cooking, ect. And it just doesn’t make me feel good to know that I don’t know anything. Also a few days ago one my mom’s friend was talking about how one of her relatives has 3 daughters who she recently saw for the first time in a long time. She said that her oldest daughter always had a passion for baking, and now she has a really successful baking business that her husband helped her start. Her other daughter became a writing teacher and earns a good amount of money. She has been a really talented writer ever since she was young, and now she is teaching that to students. But the third daughter was never interested in anything. She never wanted to learn how to do anything. She doesn’t even have basic cooking skills. Apparently the only thing she can cook is just fried potatoes. And the guy who she got married to HATES fried potatoes. But that’s the only thing that she can make 😀 Some of the things that really interest me are drawing, yoga, and embroidery. I would also really like to learn a foreign language like maybe Spanish or Arabic. I really want to know how to do those things. But my parents can’t afford classes, and I don’t know if I can teach myself these things. I see alot of yoga tutorials and drawing tutorials online, but I just don’t know where to start. If I took classes, then the teacher would be able to teach me what I need to know from the very beginning and then the more advanced stuff. My grandma has always told me that I shouldn’t depend on others, and that I should only depend on myself. That doesn’t always work that well tbh… It just really sucks hearing other girls my age be like “I know how to dance hip hop”, “I can speak 5 different languages”, “I know how to play guitar”, ect. And I can’t do any of that. I can’t play any musical instrument. Don’t know any languages other then English. Can’t dance, do gymnastics or yoga. Can’t draw, sing, ect… What should I do?!?!

Thank you, Sam! Every single video I learn something new (I’m 40, so I already know A LOT. lol)
I’ve always been thrifty & my family comes 1st at the grocery store but recently I will buy myself a protein shake mix or a special “diet” option bc you taught me I AM WORTH IT. I am worth the extra money or worth the time to workout, etc. I used to never throw away that last bite bc I didn’t want to waste it but I am worth that .2 cents. Thank you my friend xo.
